David Dejong "Doc" Robinson

Our Brother Doc
He will be Sorely Missed
God looked around His garden
and found an empty place,
He then looked down
upon the earth
and saw your weary face.
He put His arms around
you and lifted you to rest.
He saw the road was
getting rough,
and the highways
had become to hard to ride,
So He closed your weary
eyelids and whispered, "
Peace Be Thine."
It broke Our hearts to
lose you, But you didn't go
alone. For part of us
went with you,
the day God
called you home.

'You'll get over it...' It's the clichés that cause the trouble.
To lose someone you love is to alter your life for ever. You
don't get over it because 'it' is the person you loved. The
pain may stop, there are new people, but the gap never
closes. How could it? The particular`ness of someone who
mattered, whom you grieve over,  can never be erased by
anything or anyone but death. This hole in my heart is in
the shape of Doc and no one else can fit. Why would I
want them to?”

It is with great regret and sorrow that I bring to you the
news that my best friend David Dejong "Doc" Robinson
passed away this afternoon at 3:15 PM.

To My friends and family who shared in the sorrow
of that day,
Thank you for your love and support.

It was a great Day. For
those of you who
showed up on this
day to join the ride
and be there
to share in
David's Goodbye
from this earth,
it was very much
appreciated.

A Big Thanks to
Pastor Jose and his
Group for
the service for David
at the site
where his earthly
remains now
rests in peace.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
The road to success is not straight. There is a curve called Failure, a loop called Confusion, speed bumps
called Friends, red lights called Enemies, caution lights called Family. You will have flats called Jobs.
But, if you have a spare called Determination, an engine called Perseverance, insurance called Faith, a driver
called Jesus , you will make it to a place called Success. Doc traveled his road of life. And left this life
successful, in that he left with Faith in his heart and Jesus at his side and the deep and warm love of his
closest friends and family. Goodbye Doc ... we will miss you.  xoxoxo
